ABOUT US

I remember my mother, Ammie (pronounced Amy) telling me stories about how my grandmother Ammie (my mother’s namesake) made lye soap for the family.  Natural soap made from lye and oils usually lard, was common place in my mother’s childhood during the early 1940’s.  I never dreamed eight decades later, I would continue my grandmother’s legacy of making natural handmade soaps. My discovery of the healing benefits and properties of essential oils and herbs coupled with my desire for healthier and chemical free skin care products led to the birth of Ammie’s Creative Blends, LLC. 

I started with natural handmade soaps with essential oils and expanded my product line to include whipped shea butters, whipped shea souffles, foaming sugar scrubs, body washes, moisturizing body lotions and other special custom blends.  All of our products are made with natural and organic ingredients that are fair trade and ethically sourced.  Our goal is to make the highest quality, healing and skin nourishing products because our customers deserve the very best.
